• About the Society:

  The ISMD is a scientific medical society affiliated to the Israel Medical Association whose aims are:

  • To provide a forum for exchange of information and communication between all those working in the field of IEM in Israel
  • To encourage scientific and professional activity in Israel in the field of Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM), by the organisation of meetings conferences and other means
  • To promote the education and awareness of the medical community and the general public in the field of IEM
  • To represent the interests of patients with IEM with regard to other bodies such as governmental and non-governmental agencies
  • To cooperate with other relevant national and international bodies concerned with IEM
