About the Society:
• Conceived October 2005
• Registered as a professional society in 2012
• Registration no. S/RS/aW 0762 /2012
• First ISIEM executive committee included:
• President: Dr IC Verma
• Vice President: Dr Radha Rama Devi
• Secretary: Dr Madhulika Kabra
• Treasurer: Dr Seema Kapoor

• Nearly 150 + members – Mostly clinicians, but also lab scientists and metabolic dieticians.What ISIEM stands for:
I: Interest & Innovation – use of advances in the field of medicine & technology to improve services & management of IEMs
S: Support & care of patients/families. Spread Awareness
I: Initiative, issue solutions – dialogue with Govt, & other stakeholders – for the benefit of the field
