Annual Meeting
The Austrian chapter of the SSIEM meets twice a year and organizes an annual conference on selected topics of Inborn Errors of Metabolism for a broader group of pediatricians from Austria and neighbouring countries. -
About the Society:
The Austrian Society of IMD is one of several subsections of the Austrian Society of Pediatrics (OEGKJ). The Austrian chapter of the SSIEM meets twice a year.
The Austrian Society of IEM is one of several subsections of the Austrian Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine / Austrian Society of Pediatrics (OEGKJ).
The Austrian chapter of the SSIEM meets twice a year and organizes an annual conference on selected topics of Inborn Errors of Metabolism for a broader group of pediatricians from Austria and neighbouring countries. Since 2014, this meeting every other year is held as a joint meeting with the Swiss Metabolic Group, alternating Austria and Switzerland as hosting country. In addition to this, the group chairs one session at the annual general meeting of the Austrian Society of Pediatrics (OEGKJ). Membership is open to all disciplines, especially also adult physicians, but also geneticists, biochemists, psychologists.
