  • About the Society:

The first meeting of the Finnish Metabolic Club took place on Nov 12, 1993. The annual meeting rotates in Finnish medical university cities. The purpose of the Finnish Metabolic Club is to enhance healthcare professionals’ knowledge of inherited metabolic diseases. The association supports and trains its members in the recognition, research, and treatment of metabolic disorders by organizing an annual two-day meeting. The Society has approximately 100 members.

    Dietitians Group
Finnish Metabolic Dietitians Group has been organizing annually a meeting or workshop to share experience on dietetic treatment on metabolic diseases since 2016. The group consists of 8–10 dietitians.

    Adults Metabolic Physicians Group
Finnish Adult Metabolic Group has been organizing annually eight lectures about inborn metabolic disorders in adults among the group by Teams since 2019. The group consists of six physicians, mostly endocrinologists.
