Celebrating 30 Years of the SSIEM Dietitians Group

SSIEM-DG

This year marks a very special milestone as we celebrate 30 years of the SSIEM Dietitians Group (SSIEM-DG). Over the past three decades, the Group has grown into a vibrant international community of dietitians dedicated to improving the care of patients with inherited metabolic disorders through education, collaboration, research, and professional support.

Since its establishment, the Dietitians Group has played a pivotal role in advancing the dietetic management of inherited metabolic diseases. Through scientific contributions, educational initiatives, networking opportunities, and the sharing of expertise across countries and disciplines, the Group has helped shape best practices and strengthen the important role of dietitians within metabolic healthcare teams.

What began as a small network of committed professionals has evolved into a respected and influential community within SSIEM, bringing together dietitians from around the world who share a passion for improving patient outcomes and supporting one another's professional development.

As we celebrate this anniversary, we also celebrate the dedication, innovation, and achievements of the many dietitians who have contributed to the Group's success over the years. Their commitment has helped build a strong foundation for future generations of metabolic dietitians.

We invite you to join us in reflecting on this remarkable journey and the people who have made it possible. Watch our 30th Anniversary Video below to look back on the Dietitians Group's history, achievements, and the lasting impact it has had on the metabolic community.

Here's to 30 years of collaboration, excellence, and progress, and to many more years ahead!
