Membership information
Membership of the Society is open to all interested in and willing to support the aims of the Society.
SSIEM requires members and prospective members to process their annual subscription payments online.
ALL MEMBERSHIPS BEGIN ON 1st OF JANUARY EACH YEAR AND LAST FOR 1 YEAR.
Retired members - please note:
Retired members - must have been a Standard or Subsidised member for 10 years.

Standard 2024

Fully qualified, contracted position (full or part-time) applicable to physician, researcher, scientist, geneticist etc. In addition, this rate is applicable for all individuals whose membership is paid for by commercial companies.

Standard Trainees 2024

Applicable to a physician, researcher, scientist, geneticist etc in a trainee position not yet registered with their professional body.

Dietitian, Nursing, Patient Group (Charities Employee) and other professions not included in the Standard category. This includes those employed by registered charities.
