SSIEM Academy Course for 2020

20th to 21st April 2020
Winterthur (near Zurich), Switzerland

The 2020 SSIEM Academy Clinical and Laboratory Scientist courses will be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on the 20th and 21st April 2020

Programme

  • The programme will feature a combination of joint clinical and laboratory scientist lectures and workshops, please see the provisional programme for further information
  • The topic of the Academy will be:
    • Aminoacidopathies
    • Hyperammonaemia
    • Urea Cycle Defects

Applications

  • Course application is now open, please use the link below to submit your application.
  • As places are limited, if the courses are oversubscribed there may be a selection process and completion of the application form will not guarantee a place on the course.
  • In order to submit your application you will need to upload a current curriculum vitae (CV), supporting letter from your head of department and letter outlining your experience and career interests.

The application deadline is Wednesday October 30th 2019.

Post-Application

  • Accepted delegates will be contacted within 5 weeks of the applications deadline and will be asked to submit an abstract for a case presentation on a topic related to the Academy programme.
  • Accepted delegates will also be asked to pay a nominal registration fee (100 Euro) for the Academy.  Academy registration includes:
  • Accommodation (including breakfast) for the nights of 19thand 20th April 2020
  • Attendance of the course including lunches on the 20thand 21st April 2020
  • There will also be an evening meal for all Academy attendees on the 20thApril 2020 (16 Euro).
