    Our objective is to promote the prevention, diagnosis and management of hereditary metabolic disease by facilitating:
    • The exchange of information between metabolic centres in Canada.
    • The advancement of knowledge through scientific meetings.
    • The development of guidelines for the investigation and treatment of hereditary metabolic diseases.
    • The widespread application of recent advances in our understanding of inborn errors of metabolism.
