  • About the Society:
    The aim of the group is to promote knowledge in the field of inherited metabolic disorders in Sweden.
    This is achieved by:
    • arranging scientific meetings
    • promoting continued education of paediatricians and other disciplines and professions interested in hereditary metabolic diseases, particularly physicians engaged with clinical chemistry and internal medicine as well as dieticians
    • encouraging teamwork concerning patients with IEM
    • spreading information regarding conferences, courses and other forms of continued education
    • functioning as a “bank of knowledge” for the Swedish Paediatric Society

Membership of the Society is open to all interested in and willing to support the aims of the Society.
