27 – 30 May 2026

UEMS Congress, Leuven

We are pleased to inform you that the early bird registration deadline for the UEMS Congress 2026 has been extended to 11 January 2026. We encourage you to take advantage of this additional opportunity to register at a reduced rate and secure your place at this landmark event.

🗓 Dates: 27–30 May 2026
📍 Location: UZ Leuven, Campus Gasthuisberg, Leuven (Belgium)
🌐 Register now: www.uemscongress.eu

The Congress will feature:

  • 5 plenary sessions on European health, AI and medical education, workforce challenges, and healthcare systems in crisis;
  • Parallel scientific and thematic sessions on key topics including AI & ethics, global collaboration, sustainable practice, mental health, and accreditation;
  • A mentorship initiative offering one-to-one exchanges with colleagues from across Europe.

Please find the Congress presentation below, providing an overview of the programme, themes, and key information.

If you have any questions or require assistance with registration, please contact our Professional Congress Organiser, Nicole Elzebroek, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

As you have already received the original invitations for the Mentorship Initiative and the Call for Abstracts, we warmly invite you to consider participating if you have not yet done so.

Your contribution—whether as a mentor, mentee, or abstract author—will enrich the Congress and strengthen the exchange of knowledge across Europe’s medical community.

We are also pleased to inform you that the preliminary programme will be circulated soon, offering further details on sessions and timings.

We look forward to welcoming you to Leuven for an inspiring and engaging congress — register now and benefit from the early bird rate!

Kind regards,

The UEMS Congress Scientific and Organising Committee
